Privacy Policy for Onra
Onra is operated by Muhammad Fadhil ("Onra", "we", "us", or "our").
This Privacy Policy explains what information Onra collects, why we collect it, how it is processed, and the choices available to you when you use the Onra mobile application, website, and related services.
If you have questions about this policy, you can contact us at hello@useonra.com.
1. Information you provide
Tasks and planning information
Onra lets you enter tasks, brain dumps, planning information, task durations, and related content.
We process this information to provide Onra's planning, task management, focus, and related features.
Some of this information is stored on our servers so that Onra can provide and maintain these features.
Account information
You can use Onra without creating an account.
If you choose to create an account, we may collect information such as your email address, account identifier, and authentication information required to create and manage your account.
If you use a third-party sign-in provider such as Google, we receive the information required to authenticate your account from that provider.
We do not receive your Google password.
2. AI processing
Some Onra features use artificial intelligence to process information that you provide, such as brain-dump or task content.
When you use these features, the content required to perform the requested operation may be sent to our AI service providers, including OpenRouter and the model provider used to process the request.
We use this information only to provide the requested Onra feature.
Where supported, we configure our AI services to minimize retention and prevent user content from being used to train general-purpose AI models.
You should avoid entering information into Onra that you do not want processed by these services.
3. Analytics
We collect limited information about how Onra is used so that we can understand whether features work as intended and improve the application.
This may include:
- features or screens used;
- actions taken within the application;
- timestamps;
- application version;
- non-content properties related to an interaction; and
- a temporary application or session identifier.
We use OpenPanel to process this analytics information.
We design our analytics events not to contain task text, brain-dump content, email addresses, authentication identifiers, or other account credentials.
Website analytics
When website analytics is enabled, we use a separate OpenPanel project to measure page visits, navigation choices, sections reached, questions opened, and visits with at least 30 seconds of foreground time and a section reached. These measurements help us understand which explanations are useful and how visitors find Onra.
Website events contain page paths, referring website origins, approved campaign tags, and predefined interaction identifiers. We remove other URL parameters, fragments, referring page paths, and page text from these events. Requests also carry an IP address and browser user agent, which OpenPanel uses for approximate location, device, and anonymous visit measurement.
Our OpenPanel integration does not set analytics cookies, write persistent visitor identifiers to browser storage, record sessions, or link website visits to Onra accounts. It skips collection when your browser signals Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. Blocking analytics does not prevent you from reading the website.
Cloudflare provides website hosting and performance analytics. Its infrastructure processes connection information and browser performance measurements. These services are separate from OpenPanel website events.
4. Crash reports and diagnostics
We use Sentry to identify crashes, errors, and performance problems.
Information processed for this purpose may include:
- crash reports;
- stack traces;
- application version;
- device and operating-system information;
- performance information;
- the part of the application where an error occurred; and
- a pseudonymous user identifier where necessary for diagnosing account-related errors.
We take steps to prevent task text, brain-dump content, passwords, authentication tokens, and other unnecessary user content from being intentionally included in diagnostic reports.
5. How we use information
We use information collected through Onra to:
- provide task planning and focus features;
- process AI-assisted features that you request;
- store and synchronize your Onra data;
- create and manage accounts;
- maintain application reliability and security;
- diagnose crashes and technical problems;
- understand how Onra's features are used; and
- comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not use your task or brain-dump content for advertising.
6. Service providers
We use service providers to operate Onra.
These may include:
- hosting and infrastructure providers;
- OpenRouter and AI model providers for AI-assisted features;
- OpenPanel for product and website analytics;
- Cloudflare for website hosting and performance analytics;
- Sentry for crash reporting and diagnostics; and
- authentication providers where you choose to use third-party sign-in.
These providers process information only as necessary to provide their services to us, subject to their applicable agreements and privacy practices.
AI model providers may differ depending on availability and configuration. We take steps to select providers and configurations that limit retention and use of user content.
7. Anonymous use and accounts
Onra can be used without creating an account.
When you first use Onra, we may create a random internal identifier so that the application can associate your Onra data with your installation or anonymous profile.
This identifier is generated by Onra and is not derived from a hardware identifier.
If you later create an account, Onra may associate your existing anonymous profile and its data with your new account so that you can keep your existing tasks and planning history.
8. Data retention
We retain task, planning, and account information for as long as necessary to provide Onra or until you delete the applicable information or account.
Technical logs, analytics information, and diagnostic information may be retained for shorter periods according to operational requirements and the retention settings of our service providers.
AI request content is retained according to the processing configuration and retention practices of the AI provider used for the request. Where supported, Onra uses configurations intended to minimize or prevent retention of request content.
We may retain limited information where required by law, necessary for security or fraud prevention, or necessary to resolve disputes.
9. Data deletion
You can delete individual tasks and other supported content within Onra.
If you have created an account, you can request deletion of your account and associated Onra data by contacting us.
Account deletion requests are handled through email. Request it through this email link.
When an account deletion request is completed, we delete the account and associated Onra data unless retention of specific information is required for legal or security reasons.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information processed by Onra.
Information transmitted between the Onra application and our servers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS.
No system can guarantee absolute security, but we work to limit the information we collect and restrict access to information to what is necessary to operate Onra.
11. International processing
Some of the service providers used by Onra may process information in countries other than the country where you live.
Where applicable, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers of personal information.
12. Children's privacy
Onra is not designed for children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information to Onra, contact us at hello@useonra.com so that we can review and, where appropriate, delete the information.
13. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including rights to:
- request access to your information;
- request correction of inaccurate information;
- request deletion of your information;
- object to or restrict certain processing; and
- receive a copy of certain information.
You can contact us at hello@useonra.com to make a privacy request.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Onra changes.
When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and provide additional notice where appropriate.
